About Me

Born and raised in Melbourne, I have lived in the Northern suburbs my whole life. Growing up I enjoyed reading, watching movies and experimenting with art. Following my completion of high school I decided I wanted to pursue a career in journalism, leading me to study at Swinburne University of Technology. I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Journalism in December 2023. During my studies, I dedicated my spare time to the University newspaper. It was here I began to get a feel for a newsroom and began writing and editing my own and fellow students work. Throughout my time at university I worked hard to gain industry experience and have since completed an internship at Scout Jobs with Broadsheet Media. I have also had experience as a freelance writer for several e-commerce brands including Frenchiewear and BronzeEra. My introduction to the industry landed me working in Melbournes west at Star News Group. Here I reported as a journalist for 14 months writing for the Star Weekly Maribyrnong and Hobsons Bay masthead.
